UNIVERSITY OF UYO:DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING 2010/2011.
Candidates who applied to University of Uyo as their first choice University for the 2010/2011 Direct Entry Admission,are hereby informed that the screening exercise organized for them will take place as follows:

Date: Saturday, 27th November 2010.

Venue: CBN Hall.

Time: 8.00 a.m.

Qualification:
* To be eligible, candidates are expected to possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in their SSCE or equivalent in the subjects relevant to the programmes of their 1st choice including English Language.
* They should in addition, have OND, NCE, HND or first Degree.

Admission will be conducted into the following faculties:
1) Faculty of Agriculture
2) Faculty of Arts
3) Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences
4) Faculty of Business Administration
5) Faculty of Clinical Sciences
6) Faculty of Education
7) Faculty of Engineering
8) Faculty of Environmental Studies
9) Faculty of Law
10) Faculty of Pharmacy
11) Faculty of Science
12) Faculty of Social Sciences

Note: Candidates must ensure that they had registered online with JAMB.
Candidates whose names are not found in the 2010/2011 Direct Entry JAMB Printout will NOT be allowed into the screening halls.

Requirement:
(a) Eligible candidates will be required to purchase the scratch card for N1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira only) at any branch of the following Banks nationwide:
1) Bank PHB
2) Skye Bank
3) Zenith Bank
4) United Bank for Africa (UBA)
5) First City Monument Bank (FCMB)
6) Union Bank of Nigeria PLC
7) Oceanic Bank PLC
8) Uniuyo Micro Finance Bank

Note: Payment should be made with effect from the date of this advertisement.

(b) With the scratch card, candidates should access and complete the University of Uyo 2010 Direct Entry (D/E) Screening Form online at www.uniuyopume.org and scan their recent passport size photograph (with a red background) on the form.
Candidates should also note that the same scratch card will be used to access their performance in the Direct Entry (D/E) screening exercise.

(c) Candidates are also required to appear for the screening exercise with the following:
1) A copy of the ON-LINE form duly completed, carrying the passport size photograph.
2) 2010 Direct Entry Registration Slip.
3) Two recent passport-size colour photographs with red background, bearing the name and signature of the candidate on the reverse side of the photograph.
4) HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.

(d) Online registration ends on Thursday, 25th November 2010.
Students that have not registered online may not be allowed to take part in the screening exercise.

NOTE:
• Candidates’ names and pictures on their JAMB results must be same with what is filled on the Post UTME form.
• Mobile phones, calculators, walkman, ipod and similar gadgets are not allowed into the screening venue.
• Candidates are strongly advised to identify their screening venues prior to the date of their screening as lateness to venues will not be tolerated.
• Candidates must apply within the Registration period as the Application form will be disabled at mid-night on Sunday, Thursday, 25th November 2010
• Candidates must report to Screening Venues by 7.30am in the morning
• Parents and guardians as well as uninvited security agents will not be allowed into the campus on the day of the screening exercise.
